A pair of Indiana Pacers supporters drew online attention after cameras captured their animated exchange during Thursday's game against the Brooklyn Nets at Barclays Center.

The man delivered a monologue while the woman listened intently before responding, with lip-readers speculating she said, "That's you. What the f--- are you talking about?" The man reacted with apparent recognition.

An X user claiming to be the woman later posted that she loved her boyfriend and this was their normal way of talking.

The Pacers defeated the Nets in a matchup between NBA bottom-feeders, marking Indiana's second victory in its last 25 games.

The win contrasts sharply with last season, when the Pacers reached the NBA Finals before Tyrese Haliburton suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon in the series against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Haliburton has missed the entire 2025-26 campaign. The NBA regular season concludes Wednesday.
