Kane tips PSG as favorites against Arsenal in Champions League final

Harry Kane named Paris Saint-Germain favorites to defeat Arsenal in the Champions League final after Bayern Munich's semifinal exit to the French club. The Bayern striker labeled PSG slight favorites as reigning champions despite calling the matchup even between two strong teams. Kane spoke following Bayern's 6-5 aggregate loss to PSG.

Bayern drew 1-1 in the second leg at Allianz Arena but could not overturn the first-leg deficit. Kane scored a stoppage-time consolation goal for the hosts, sparking brief celebrations among Bayern fans before PSG advanced. The England captain expressed frustration over referee decisions, including a rejected handball penalty claim against Joao Neves and Nuno Mendes avoiding a second yellow card.

"It's tough to take right now. Over the two legs we had enough moments to have a different outcome but it didn't go our way. Some decisions today didn't go our way," Kane told reporters. He added of the final: "PSG being champions probably hold the right to be slight favorites but overall, two top teams going at it and it will be an even match."

Kane became the first player since Cristiano Ronaldo to score in six consecutive Champions League knockout matches with his semifinal goal. PSG can become only the second club after Real Madrid to defend the Champions League title. The 32-year-old has scored 55 goals across all competitions this season.

Bayern now target a domestic double through the DFB-Pokal final against Stuttgart.
